This past weekend, I got an email that my instructable for my Nautical Bib Necklace was featured, than another that it was featured on the home page... And then I checked back after the BTU Lab tweeted about it, and as of this writing, the instructable has over 2,100 views. While I love that people admire my work, I am really excited that it is for this piece specifically. This piece is what what really started me seriously in jewelry, which is what I feel has made me the most credible as a designer. I have made and sold hundreds of these over the past summers in Bar Harbor, Maine (if you've never been, take two weeks in August to go if you're under 37 or have children, and 1 week in September if neither of those are true), but they have also been sold in NYC and London. I was doing this in high school while I was a part of NHS, the VP of student council, captain of my diving team, taking 3 APs and OChem at the local University. It has seen the progress of generations... From store-bought findings to thing I can only buy wholesale, from ordering paracord by 100 foot roll , to ordering it by 1,000 foot roll.
I am proud of how far I have come, and excited to see where I will go next. Thank you, internet, for being one of the best and most unlikely cheerleaders so far. Ps, this was the second instructable I created, so get ready!
